Active Subscription
A valid subscription to a specific membership that contains a current transaction (payment) that grants content access to a member. Members’ access continues until the subscription expires.
Administrator
WordPress user role with complete WordPress website control, including all WishList LMS features and settings. Can override all protection settings and manage member accounts. Has access to all site content regardless of protection.
Application Fee
A percentage-based fee applied to Stripe transactions. The fee percentage depends on your WishList LMS plan.
Art der Abrechnung
Payment structure can be One-Time (paid once) or Recurring (subscription needs to be renewed for each subscription period). Setting the billing type for a membership determines whether the subscriptions for this membership renew automatically. Set during initial membership creation.
Payment processing service (Stripe or Offline). Each payment method connects to one gateway. Online payments must be handled through Stripe.
Offline PaymentGateway
The payment gateway is used for managing various payments, including bank transfers, checks, and those received through third-party services. This payment gateway needs to be managed manually.
Offline Payment
Payment made outside of your website or offline requires. Often, these payments require the administrator to confirm payment before granting members access.
Stripe
Online payment processor integrated with WishList LMS. Handles credit card processing and manages recurring subscriptions automatically. Available on all plans.
Webhook
Automated communication between Stripe and your site. Updates payment status in real-time. Handles renewals and failed payments.
Transaktion
Individual payment record for subscription period. One-time subscriptions have a single transaction. Recurring subscriptions accumulate multiple transactions, one for each billing period.
Vollständig
Transaction status indicating successful payment and active access. Shows a green indicator in the transaction list. Grants members immediate content access.
Pending
Transaction status awaiting payment confirmation. Common with offline payments. The member has no access until the transaction status is changed to completed.
Erstattet
Transaction status for returned payments. Access is revoked when the refund is processed.
Cancel Subscription
Administrators can cancel subscriptions to stop future recurring payments. Members can also cancel their own subscriptions when this option is enabled in settings. Access continues until the current period expires.
Coupon(s)
Discount codes applied at checkout to reduce membership prices. Coupons support fixed amounts, percentages, and trial periods. Available on the Basic plan or higher.
Pause/Resume Subscription
Allows members or administrators to temporarily pause a recurring subscription and resume it later. Available on paid plans when enabled in settings.
Different posts, pages, and custom post types that contain your texts, images, and other content. WishList LMS can protect these posts, pages, and custom post types.
Custom Post Type
Specific custom content posts beyond standard posts/pages. Custom post types (CPTs) are posts with custom functionalities. These are often added to a WordPress website by your theme or plugins (e.g, WishList LMS courses are a CPT).
Guest
Site visitor who is not logged in. These users can access all public content but not the protected content.
Mitglied
A WordPress user on your website, with a current (active) or previous (expired) membership subscription.

PayWall
Unauthorized access option that displays a paywall blocking the protected content while indexing it for search engines. Available on the Plus plan or higher.
Page-Based Protection
WishList LMS allows protection of individual pieces of content (e.g., a single post). These settings are available in the Meta Box when editing posts and pages.
Protected Content
An individual content with Page-Based Protection applied to it. This content is not publicly available.
Zugriffsschutz

Unauthorized Messages
An unauthorized access option that displays an unauthorized message to unauthorized users instead of the protected content.
Unauthorized Redirection
An unauthorized access option that sends (redirects) unauthorized users to another location, often to sales or registration pages. This is an immediate redirect, which means unauthorized users won’t be able to see the protected content before being redirected.
A subscription package that defines the subscription details like pricing, duration, and access level. Users subscribe to a membership by registering through the membership’s registration page.
Anmeldung Seite

Abonnement
A user’s active purchase of membership for the one billing period. A subscription is always associated with a single membership and includes at least one transaction.

This is the subscription type that contains a single transaction for a defined duration. When the transaction expires, the user’s subscription to the membership will end. These subscriptions will not be renewed.
Recurring Subscription
This is the subscription type that contains multiple transactions – one transaction for each billing period. When the current transaction reaches the expiry date, the subscription is automatically renewed, and a new transaction is created for the next billing period. This way, the user’s subscription is extended continuously until the subscription is cancelled.

Preisgestaltung Seite
