The WishList LMS Social Login add-on adds one-click login options to your course site. Instead of creating and remembering a separate password, students can authenticate using credentials they already have — their Facebook, Google, X, or WordPress.com accounts.
With WishList LMS Social Login, you can:
- Enable any combination of four providers: Facebook, Google, X (Twitter), and WordPress.com
- Automatically connect accounts when emails match between your site and the social provider
- Let students manage their own social connections from their account page
- Display social login buttons on your login page automatically, or place them anywhere using shortcodes
Each provider requires a quick setup through its developer platform to create the connection, and the add-on includes documentation to walk you through the process.
Once configured, social login buttons appear on your login page alongside the standard username and password fields, giving students the choice of how they want to sign in.
Password resets are one of the most common support requests on any site that requires login. Social Login reduces that burden by giving students an alternative that doesn’t require them to remember anything new.
